What a bunch of short-sighted, uninspired, thintelligent self-abusers. I hope with all my heart that TEF4 is wrong, but this has certainly not helped an already poor situation.

Another great day for the lovers of oikball with thier shiny foreheads, little piggy eyes and no conversation.

Angry Absolutely Furious

I'm infuriated with this. What a bunch of selfish C***s******. I can't even get bloody Sky! I've had to do without the winter cricket for 10 years, domestic cricket for 5 and now all cricket! Its an effing travesty. The owners of the freehold of my block of flats will not allow sky dishes to be installed and cable is not accessible in my part of the country. You can't even get a signal from Channel 5. It makes me want to go to the ECB and physically glass every bastard who voted for this. I'm in a blind fury and I apologise to anyone I've offended, but the offense has come straight from the ECB and if you want to complain - complain to those bastards.

While it may look bleak now, just think - an excuse to go to the pub for 5 all-dayers in a row every other week during summer. Is that better?

Most sports are now just shown on Sky really, how much football/rugby coverage on Tv these days other than sky? It's not an ideal situation but it will work out in the long run, as it has for these other sports.

I don't get to see much rubgy these days either. The only reason I get to see the 6 nations is becuase the Government won't LET them sell the coverage to Sky.

Sounds like a great way to go to me. Fan-bloody-tastic.

I have heard many on this board explicitly say that they prefer to listen to it on Test match special anyway. This decision will really not affect them at all. The fact that channel 5 have got the highlights (when many in this country cannot access it) is more of a disgrace to me.

Trouble is - though I like spending time down the pub in the evening - and that's ok, I have chronic asthma problems with smoke and spending 5 days in a pub, 7 times a year (30 days in total!!) might give me some real bronchial problems (sorry to get all medicinal) so that isn't really much of an option for me.

Also, there is no doubt that come August - the chances of seeing the test match in the pub on Saturdays and Sundays when there is a premiership match on is almost nil. Given that there are often three on the Sunday, there won't be much cricket shown.
