100% Geeeze, that's ridiculous.

If they doctor the pitch though, Ern, will it not go in our favour abit more? Our batsmen grew up on early season seeming wickets. While it might help SA bowlers abit, it could make their batting abit dodgy?

By doctor I mean leaving some grass on, I suppose some might say this might favour Pollock, but with the humidity, Hoggard will come into play, and if they leave grass on, as I suspect they will, Simon Jones will come into play, scimmers at 85 mph +, thats not counting the pace and bounce of Harmison and Flintoff.

South Africans are thinking the same for Pollock and kallis, patience at the begining will be the name of the game, can't see Tresco being patient though.

Ern, isn't it the case at the moment though that whatever South Africa do or plan, England can do it slightly (or significantly) better. So whatever pitch the SA team think-tank goes for, grassy, uneven bounce, or seaming, it will play to SA's strengths, but England have the same strengths, only better!

Yes I tend to agree Maranello, but was just echoing some of the thinking within the South Africa camp, I do agree with you on the fact that it plays to both the same set of strengths, I agree also, all things being equall. England are the stronger.

Definately not. I've not started watching the actual cricket but I will soon, what's the wicket like Pete?

Not really that bad to be honest, the odd ball keeps abit low, but it's not seeming around everywhere. Definitely a wicket they should score runs on.

Geeze freddie.
