Well I think there is going to have to be a rethink about Englands top order, been shaky for a while now, Strauss exepted.

Pollock has bowled accurate, but that is all, batsmen getting them selves out.
Poor batting with Strauss, vaughan, Butcher and Flintoff.

Mind you the middle order should not have even been batting yet, except for the ball keepimg low, the pitch has done nothing, no swing.

I can't see England even drawing this match, not unless some MAJOR heroics are performed with the ball.

*****, Ray Jennings if probably having an orgasm over this one.

Well another wicket, G O Jones gone, Giles and Hoggard our last hope, patience was needed on this wicket.

All Pollock had done was bowl short, or hit the deck, just back of a length.

150 will be a good score from here.

England are getting bombed with short balls, Giles and Hoggard are getting hit, because the pitch is two paced, as far as bouce is concerned

Really should have played with care and patience on this pitch.

England fighting back, South Africa 48/2 but Kallis at the wicket.

Wonder what was wrong with Giles, he was like a statue, not being able to get out of the way of the short balls, took some stick.

Not Englands day, Kallis edges Jones over slips fot 4, I think Harmison will be on soon, Kallis likes to play of the front foot, will not be so keen against the short stuff.

Floodlights on

England not dead yet, they have found their spade, the one they use to dig themselves out of holes they dig for themselves, South Africa 70/3 ar the close of play, get Kallis early on, and England are back.
