| England's batting in each of the last two first innings has been nothing short of appalling. The South African's haven't bowled us out, we've got ourselves out. The shots played yesterday by Strauss and Tresco were very poor. |

| No, I agree with you Notts Exile but I'm afraid we are going to have to stick with him for the time being as he is the best we have got and probably the only one out of the 4 main keepers-Foster,Read,Prior being the others that can get test centuries and that is what Duncan Fletcher is looking for. |

| Dare I say it, Flintoff's career is not littered with many back to the walls performances. Giles and Thorpe again - let's have a repeat of Port of Spain and Trent Bridge. |
