Hoggy is bowling superbly. Nice and full and the new ball is doing a bit

and a FANTASTIC innings from Trescothick, getting over half of the runs and forming good partnerships with the tail-enders. With both Strass and Tresco in form England can go very far.

I loved the last 10 overs of England innings when Tresco was hitting them for 6 and 4... Beautiful confident play and really made the lead something impossible for South Africa to chase.

Calm down, RD1 - it's only three down (de Villiers, Rudolph, Kallis).

yeh when flanflinger said 6 left i though that meant four were down! but i suppose because smith might not bat?

Hoggard gas started off with a stormer, wonder if the rest can maintain that pressure, it will probably have to be flintoff. dont see harmison or anderson doing the damage with hoggard.

good pressue by england.

It was a peach of a ball to take care of Kallis - although Jones did his best to mess it up for the 2nd time in the game (he really needs to do a bit of work in when to leave the ball for first slip).

Don't think Kallis is in the mood for cricket today - he looks even more miserable than usual!!

indeed. he seemed very annoyed having to bowl so many overs this morning. must have ruined his appetite for batting
