If that had been my intention I'd have done it as soon as he'd arrived at the crease !!

Talking

Best part of a hundred lead as it stands, should have put Steve H in to see if he can extend his run as an all-rounder
Seriously he can wack it a bit and England should now be looking for a declaration tonight.

Palio69 thats a bit steep 4-1. It hasn't been that one sided.

Harmison is a batting all rounder this series!!!.

No but if England win this test that ll make it 3-1 and i think everyone agrees England wouldve beaten Saffers in the 2nd test.

I don't think it was that one sided. I think 4-1 would of been steep. That 2nd Test that showed England couldn't land the killer blow. At the time Atherton said they loss 5 wickets by tea on the last day of a game and they were worried than. SA were down by 4 wickets with Kallis out before lunch.
Now they had plenty of time to get the remaining wickets bad light or no bad light. Weather has played a part in the game so the sooner you bowl out a side the better. SA were batting for the light what else could they do. It was up to Vaughans bowlers who had two days rest as England amassed 510 to bowl SA out. They did exactly this in the last test. Bowled them out!

Are you really serious? We managed in two other Tests, and if we get the opportunity we are more likely to win here than your boys!!

It took your boys 12 overs to get the last wicket in Cape Town. Had we not lost 16 overs on the last day at Durban, we would have cleaned you boys up with ease.

I sincerely hope so, otherwise he'll be a bit of a laughing stock beofre the Ashes!

I wonder if SA will crumble now that they cannot possibly win?

I agree with you if you have read what I have to say about my own side you would know I don't think that highly of them. See my latest comments of the Ashes. How pleased I am we are playing Zimbabwe and WI next. Not the Aussies.
Its not suprising we took so long to get the last England wicket we have got a opening bowler (Pollock) who the SA press has said has been in decline for the past 18 months. SA ARE NOT THAT GOOD A SIDE. This side will struggle with all the top sides as is proven this series.
The question is Englands, after 2 days rest why was Pollock allowed to hang around for 27 overs. He was run out in the end not bowled out.

Because he's not a bad bat? If he doesn't get out early on then he is difficult to remove.
