John, I think, like so many teams chasing the Aussies, you have 1/2 a good side.

Smith , Gibbs, Kallis, De Villiers are all useful, and Pollock, Ntini and Nel are handy.

You need 2 class bats, and a proper spinner and you're there.

Same for England -

Tresco, Strauss, Thorpe and Freddy all fit the bill, as do Hoggy and Harmy. A spinner, a better keeper and a nice swingy 4th seamer would be super please!

TtFC,

I know he has not been at his best of Late, but Vaughan versus the Australians? I think he will raise his game for them.....

Why is Freddy "Ooo I need an operation real bad" Flintoff opening ahead of Simon "I could be good if they'd just let me get a few overs in" Jones or Steve "I need a few cheap wickets to get my confidence up" Harmison?

I think Devilliers has been a great fiond for SA. How old is he, 21 or something. Actually hoped he'd get his maiden test century. He's done everything he's been asked to do pretty well.

As for the swing bowler, that lagefled (not spelt right) he looked pretty good.

Flingy, Vaughan doesn't know whether he's coming of going a the moment!

Here's an idea - let him open with Tresco, Straussy to no3, Blobby Key or Bell-end to no.4
