I think Strauss prefers all the attention on him and so did that on purpose knowing Tresco is so unselfish to run back. Strauss made a poor decision and should ahve continued running to take the punishment. We would also be much better off right now because he was freescoring while strauss was struggling. Just as Tresco was improving his average and showing England have a real challenge for Ashes, this happens. Im annoyed.

Dunno how u can ever class DeVon Malcolm and Glenn Donald McGrath in the same breath. I don't think McGrath will be dropped. He'd have to go through the NZ and Ashes tours wicketless to be dropped.

Mcgrath still looks a great performer. But England have got a good batting lineup. This is going to be a test for Mcgrath. This reminds me of WI four years ago when a ageing Walsh and Ambrose came to England. The difference being Mcgrath has other bowlers to back him up Walsh and Ambrose had no back up.

With respect to Pakistan they have a batting line up equivalent to the Indian bowling attack. Unless the Pakistan bowlers blow the opposition away (not unusual with Shoaib and Sami) they are always likely to struggle.
