Yes, Goaty - for a moment I thought you'd overdone the Genever last night. But no: you're still on planet Earth, thankfully!

The world needs dreamers. Once apon atime people laughed if anyone said Sri Lanka would win a world cup. Seriosly though, Goatman, how strong is Holland cricket? Could they actually get strong enough to get test status in the future?(I know i am getting off the original thread but i am curious)

Put it this way; NL's best bat is a lad called Bas Zuiderent. Zuiderent spent 2003 with Sussex and only got 3 games. He did OK. But the fact that they did not continue his contract is rather informative. Basically, there is not one Dutch player capable of playing at First Class level at the present time........

Goatman, if you marry a dutch girl and get citizenship, then gets some wickets and runs for your club - you might be able to pack your bag for the West Indies in 2007 playing for Holland!!

Only if I don't get caught; the Dutch are pretty easy-going, but bigamy is still illegal over here.......pity really.....

My little lad was born this side of the North Sea though - so you never know!

The futures bright. The futures Orange. Bright orange. Yuk........
