Ern, my heart says there will be no more war and world peace, the environment will be saved, an end to world hunger, and my wife will see how much i suffer mowing the lawn and not make me do it any more, but my head keeps on proving me wrong

My point being Seamer is that Mike should listen to his heart, because for some, thinking about the coming Ashes series, if people listen to their hearts, and not with their heads, they are more likely to act in a possitive way.

It would seem for some strange reason, most people think we will regain the Ashes in 2007, or even 2009. that is what thinking with your head does, give you negative thoughts.

I don't suffer such thought myself My heart and my head are in complete agreement .

If my post has not helped your problem with your lawns, then I am sorry .

Come to think of it, I have the same problem.

If at all anything Redback, the VB series and before that the test series (Aus vs Pak) showed that if England play to their very best, they're going to make it very hard for Australia to win - Australia have proved in the last couple of one-day matches (at least) that they have got a few weaknesses, its only about the other side being good enough to expolit them, Pakistan wasn't, but England could be.

ps: McGrath bowled well today, as he did throught out the series, but to be honest, we played absymally, half of the wickets were gifted as such, Brad Hogg for instance was getting milked around all over the place, yet you see his figures and realise that he's taken 2 very important wickets, that of Malik and Youhanna, I suggest that says nothing but the fact that we batted poorly, very poorly as a matter of fact.
