Yes Rich I agree, and while they are at it, they can send the Clingon (Wharf) back as well, both going for arround 7 an over.

Code:
Bowling O M R W
Gough 10 2 38 1 (1w)
Anderson 9 0 65 0 (6w)
Ali 10 1 40 4
Wharf 6 0 40 0 (1nb, 2w)
Batty 10 0 42 2

Well if cricket info is to be believed Kabir Ali is batting at 3, is this a sign of england reverting to there pinch hitting ways?

What's the point in having Kabir Ali getting the batting practice ahead of Bell, Pietersen and Collingwood ? Surely they are the batsmen and they are expected to score the runs?

Hurrah for Kabir. Perhaps he sacraficed himself for the good of the team. Maybe he thought "I've proved myself with the ball today so why do I need to do it with the bat. I'll give the other chaps a go"

Or he's just not a very good bat. So now england are sod all for 2. If you're opening with solanki (surely the riskiest thingin all of cricket) you dont need to compound the problem by putting a bowler who biffs it when he can at 3.

No more drugs for Mr Fletcher !

Similar question could be asked about Marcus Trescothick's thirty overs behind the sticks, could it not, with GO Jones fielding elsewhere?

Speaking of drugs, RBLC, I see from the avatar that you've been on the anabolic steroids a bit.
