Good match. They talking on Sky as if England have won on points. Nothing changes.

John - In the past, we would have won due to having more wickets in hand!! And to be fair, it's a moral win for England, given that SA only wanted 3 or 4 runs off the last 6 ball.

Plus it's better to be 1 up after 2 games than to be level.

SA have won 1 of their last 12 matches. Set 271 to win. They get a tied match off a team that are flying. Won a load of test series got in whisker of winning the ICC trophy I'd say that isn't too bad result. It was a fighting performance.

Bad, bad, bad finish. Why didn't they send Ntini in that last over, instead of young, inexperienced, nervous, Prince?

At times during that SA reply it looked unlikely they would get there. It was always going to be difficult given our recent ODI record. Especially with experienced performers like Gough, Hoggard and Giles. But Kallis, Gibbs and Kemp pulled us to point of victroy which I agree we should of won.
But given our record we should see the batting performance as positive.
