Okay guys - time for predictions. Lloyd says history shows that 200 is the par score for this ground so can England defend their total or do they need to bowl SA out to win?

To close to call, but I will stick my neck out, 200 may be a par score, but today is today, so I think,

England. evens.
South Africa. 10/11.

SA by a nose.

I would not back my prediction with Pounds or Rands

You've got to bet on the saffers. Again I think we're just short of an unreachablr target. Wouldnt be against it all going off in the last over. What odds a tie ???????

On the face of it, that's a disappointing scorecard from England, isn't it? Lots of starts, and then lots of finishes soon afterwards (Solanki 66 the only exception). On the other hand, a relatively low scoring ground and a total which is not dreadful. I'd like to think this is England's game, but, as someone has indicated above, we could do with Gibbs and Kallis not hanging around for long.

The highest score for a successful runchase on this ground is 223.

OF,I think we lost the chance of a 280 score, in the last 4 overs, I dont think bell and co, knew how to improvise.

South Africa got 270+ in the tied match, so they are capable.

Rich don't forget Smith.

Must praise Smith he could of chosen to hide down the order but comes out and faces the music.
He is looking awkward and quiet foolish at times ie trying to run the ball fine with two slips in place. But seems to think facing his problems is the best way.

I think he's doing ok. I think if SA plod along at this rate and not lose too many wickets they'll more than likely win.
