Besides blaming the bowlers and fielders, the batsmen played poor the last ten overs of the England innings.

It was a tight hard fought match, congrats to SA.

One thing England are becoming an attraction, sell out gates in SA for the first time in ages, i think this tour in general has been good for cricket.

OK - we have a chance here for some esoterica.

Cricinfo shows the last ball as being a four. The BBC shows it as two. No effect on the result, of course, but it does affect Prince's tally. As I understand it, if the batsmen had completed the required runs before the ball crossed the boundary, then it's the runs between the wickets that count. So, guys, what was it? Two or four?

All right: scrub it! Someone at the Beeb has already spotted it, and they now show it as four runs.

And much deserved John. OK, we did bowl dross at times but there was tight overs too and you still had to get over 260. I can be magmanamous in defeat because my fantasy team did OK out of it !
