Quite right, I see Vaughan did not last long.

When will they suss it out, Strauss should open with Trescothick.

Well, we've done that one before, Ern, and I know we don't agree! In this case though, the finger was being raised as Jones left, so no harm done.

It's all going to the dogs, I'm afraid, and England are going to get thumped. I think I'll listen to Italy v Ireland rugby for a while now. C'mon, Ireland!

Poor show all round except for Pieterson, just got a 4 then a 6 + another 6 Pieterson out for 75, that's it I am afraid.

3 wickets left, 8 an over needed, I am an optimist, but oh dear.

It looks like England have found themselves a new batsmen for the Ashes. The Key, Bell , Butcher debate has been trancesnded.
Personally the England batting lineup for the 1st Test match of the Ashes should be
1.Treco
2.Strauss
3.Vaughan
4.Butcher
5.Pietersen
6.Flintoff
