I appreciate the little digs about spelling and grammer in this thread are pretty light-hearted, but I think it's worth pointing out that some people, through no fault of their own are always going to have problems in this area, myself included. I think the content of people's posts is ultimately much more important than the quality of spelling/grammer used.

Just to add on to Andy,s lesson, (heh, heh, heh - classic). When completing a sentence, be it with an exclaimation mark or full stop, you should begin the next sentence with a capital letter. In fact, the whole structure of the above sentence is incorrect. The correct structure of the sentence should be: Everywhere i read on this board, and on others, people are spelling Pietersen as Pieterson!! Also, when refering to a name, the first letter should be a capital. I do hate to be pedantic. The thread was started on this note though.

Kirsty makes a good point, but I think it's important to highlight the fact that people are replying with tongue in cheek replies to the original post to emphasise that spelling is not the be all and end all.

Misuse of apostrophes still winds me up though.

On this note, I'd just like to highlight to Seamer that he's misused a comma as an apostrophe in his signature. Rookie error there mate!

Also, the tit-for-tat complaints whilst amusing for some, could cause some offence for others. Hence, I'll cease from further abuse of the spelling and grammar of others.... At least until the next misuse of a semi-colon!
