well i didn't expect to be remembered, so i'm pleasantly surprised

I've actually been home for a month and a bit but i got offered some work straight away and been snowed under ever since (welcome back to the real world! bah!). I only tend to come out of the woodwork when there is actually some cricket on or about to be on.... ashes fever!

got some photos of me at the WACA, watched Western Australia lose to Tasmania (i cheered on taz, yay)

also went to the SCG but it was closed and to the MCG but they were doing massive refurbishments there so it was closed too, didn't get to go in either of those two as i'd used up all my good will on the missus by making her watch the game at the WACA

I've got my 'wife-beater' (aussie name for a vest) on because it was the ONE sunny day we had in the whole 9 weeks we were in australia... sunny country my ****! they lie on their weather reports...

(my other travel photos are on that site if you look on the index of http://www.winnermen.com/travel i'm in the middle of making a travel website for it with all the stories from my emailing list but because of the job and buying a house i haven't had a chance to do it yet)

aye but the others on here would know it as a vest. According to the wonderful people of western australia it was called a wife beater though (which is what we call a pint of stella.. strange old world), i should have just said "me looking like a ponce with my dodgy 200baht sunglasses from thailand after some git stole my nice oakley ones" and saved any confusion

Blimey, Vic! I thought that picture in your avatar was something you'd lifted from the web. Now I see it really is you! Welcome back, mate!

Vic, from your picture, I think there's a touch of the Ronnie Irani's about you!

Difference being that Vic has more chance of succeeding as a test level all rounder.

Welcome back Vic, the old squad are returning.
