I think the problem with this approach is that the Aussies score so quickly. It might lead to an upset victory as it has when Gilchrist went chasing an unlikely victory, but more often than not, I would back the Aussies to chase down a target. I think that the strategy of increasing the pressure on Oz and at the same time increasing English confidence is a sound one if it can be implemented. I think that the best way of doing this is to actually score moderately quickly so that there's a score to defend, rather than last man standing in the trenches - the Aussie batting is a bit like a machine gun under these conditions and is only likely to misfire occasioanlly

Rodney Hogg: England are petrified of Warne.

Quote:
"They're petrified of Warne, absolutely scared of him," Hogg told AAP.

"He's got such a bluff over them that he's already got wickets before he comes on to bowl, as soon as he's driving to the ground he's got wickets against them."

What we need is a cold snap in the summer. That Warne's a bit of a cry-baby when it comes to the cold. At the Rose Bowl last weekend, he had to wear a woolen hat to keep his ickle ears warm. He also brought Shaun Udal on to bowl ahead of him... Probably worried he'd have to take his hands out of his pocket and they'd get cold too... Diddums!

Seriously though, I'm fed up with so called 'pundits' bad mouthing each other. Let the players do the talking this summer rather than some old, washed up has-been living on past glories.

Too true Andy. I'm fed up of aussie bluster from the affore mentioned has-beens, and deluded rantings from the english press to the point I'm hardly looking forward to the ashes as every drop of anticipation is being drained out of me by these wankers.

What we need is Warne to make another saucy text friend in Hampshire.

Now, Now RBLC... You can't blame a man for being honest.

Rodney who
Rodney Hogg... The pea brained idiot who told a cricket clinic I was at a few years back, that they should ball more bouncers! That players these days are weak and cant play off the back foot properly! and then proceded to tell us that every bouncer he ever balled to Viv Richards was belted over the fence for four except for one which hit him on the chin, only to have Viv still standing there leaning casualy on his bat chewing his gum as if nothing had ever happened... The man's an idiot... But even Idiots can tell who's going to win this series!

Just an idea that popped in my head Vic

How about a bit of do it yourself nip and tuck gender re-arrangement. With your family surgical history, long blonde hair and a Pamela Anderson style bust and butt. I'm sure Warnie will start sms texting you.

have fun with Bridgitte's son.
