Oh yes, I saw the scorecard, Yardley 180 not out - must have been a good pitch.

But I see there in the bowling card the EH Jr has bowled 10 no balls in 27 overs ...isn't that a few too many, especially for a spinner?

Ohh yea, like Flemming instiled fear when he made a double ton against bangladesh and then never got past 30 when he came to Australia...

Surrey have declared at 549-7. Yardy will be pretty chuffed at having picked up 257 of those.

Bangladesh, sadly, are having a nightmare of a day at Hove, with a rain interrupted afternoon leaving them at 102-6 and their skipper, Habibul Bashar, with a face full of stitches. He was hit by a bouncer from Lewry and cut as his face-guard splintered. May resume his innings tomorrow and is not expected to be ruled out of the first test by this.

The Bangladeshis elected to take batting practice against British Universities last week and are not likely to get another go in the field in this match with tomorrow being the last day and a follow on looking inevitable. Did they make the most of the fielding and bowling opportunity presented by last week's warm up game in Cambridge?

Well, Bashar didn't get a chance to resume his innings tomorrow. Bangladesh already following on this evening with a first innings deficit of 422 runs.

Couldn't find a relevant place, but I thought I'd mention that I've got tickets for the Hants/England one day match on 11th June. Well, it's the only chance I'll have of seeing England this summer.
Anyone else going?

Well, Bangladesh were defeated by an innings and 226 runs by Sussex. Their next match starts tomorrow, Friday, at 1045 BST (0945 GMT) against Northamptonshire (three day match). Weather forecast is cold (max 15C), windy (SW at 20mph) and showery, none of which sounds all that good. Nevertheless, I hope for a closer contest than the last game. Though I can't see anything other than a 2-0 result in the test series which starts next week, I am hoping for a game or two then. Sadly, on the performance against Sussex, it might be a forlorn hope.
