Ah yes Ern, but as quoted earlier in this thread... all counties have pop-gun attacks [or words to that effect] so there's no point in scoring hods of runs because you're basically only gonna get picked if you're friends with the skipper or one of the selectors. Or the best fielder in the country or perhaps captain of the ODI side... or something pathetic like that.
One can't help thinking however, that if these lads did have four or five (why four or five, they're all so damned good that surely they could manage three centuries in one and a half) matches and make three nice big easy centuries, perhaps that would put them in mind of doing it where it counts. Really counts. In the first innings of a Test match.
