Allegedly they were his second and third missed catches ................... of the season! Typically made in front of the cameras!

Yeah, well done Notts. I'm a bit of a fan of one S. Fleming, and it wasn't until I looked down the team sheet that I realised how many of their playrs I liked - Sidebottom, Read, Ealham and Smith. All of whom I would have liked to have seen in the Middx side!

Mick Newell has put together a very good side. There aren't too many weaknesses and the credit really must go to Newell. The pace bowling quartet has really excelled this season and is probably the mian reason they've won nine matches from fifteen.

Surely Teatime some one as cool as you can't like Ryan Sidebottom - first that name (I mean why on earth would any one call them self The Sidebottoms?), and then that hair (err) ...

Why did Newell retire from playing so young (didn't he become permanent 2nd XI captain?) I remember him getting 200+ against Derbyshire as a youngster iin about 86 or 87. He was meant to be promising.

People generally don't have much say in their surnames!
