Ashes Highlights

With the series not too far in the future, the time has come to ask for information on terrestrial ashes highlights. My snooping on the Five cricket forums suggest they don't have any tour rights, but does anyone else?

You would imagine some terrestrial broadcaster would be interested in showing this.

Dave - I've spent a few minutes this morning looking for this information. The broadcast rights are sold by Cricket Australia, but I can find nothing on their website which answers the question: it could be worth an e-mail to them (there's a contact form on their site). I've got a not very funny idea, though, that Sky has this one wrapped up completely.

I don't know if the BBC or TalkSport will be covering the Ashes on radio. But according to this comment, also from the Cricket Australia website, you should be able to get a web-stream from the ABC. If anyone can improve on this answer, please post it here: there will be a lot of folks who are interested.

Good work, OF. Email dispatched.

Like you say, Sky will likely have all rights sewn up although judging by the length of time it took them to secure the winter tours last winter it may not all be said and done yet. I would be surprised if there wasn't a minor media kerfuffle if no terrestrial broadcaster had highlights of this series, though.
