They are going to need some extra large beds in Perth for Tremlett 6'7 and Broad 6'6. Tremlett didn't have a good night tonight. The commentators were saying Bruce looked like he should be the one going with the A squad.

Yes if he went he could become a household name, I am sure everyone would know his name by the end of tour

Could you imagine
Aussie "G'day Bruce"
Bruce "Sorry but do I know you?"

indeed, I was there watching (until it rained ) and Tremlett bowled horrendously, he just couldn't get his line or length correct, but he did bowl extremely quickly and the few times he did get his line and length correct he constantly hit the batsmen as they mistimed their shots. Bruce was outstanding though, he's made a real step up this season and has been really consistent, he won't get picked for anything though as he doesn't have that look about him, he's a bit like Kirtley in that he does a good job and regularly wins matchs but isn't a star attraction or someone people talk about.

I was there watching too (until the rain...) and Tremlett was bad. Bruce - who I've not heard of before, was excellent. What's his pedigree?

Saw Shane get hit too - or rather, Dr Shane.
