Mark Ramprakash

He's after Goughies title.Just heard he will be in Strictly Come dancing this winter.

I wonder if he will cope with the pressure or will he be great in practice and then fail on the big stage.

Goughie won the Strictly come Dancing title???!!! Wow...Sorry I missed it! We have re-runs on the Brit channel on Saturday's but I'm always busy elsewhere...

So far we haven't had any cricketers on the SA version, but last season we had a former front row rugby player (forget his name for a second), and former boxing champion Baby Jake Matlala (he did NOT float like a butterfly)

On the current season we had Mark Fish (ex-Footballer - ABSOLUTELY no rhythm whatsoever!)... Voted out 2 weeks ago...

Fast track?! It took Goughy eight months to get back in the side, that was after actually winning the show, and there was an injury/lack of talent crisis!

Ramps would have to win a professional dance competition to even stand a chance of getting into the Test side again!

Isn't he the one whose career ended after he fell through a glass table?

I think it's more likely to be the producers of the show have noticed the renewal of interest in cricket and wanted to take advantage of it by inviting cricketers to participate...

At least he hasn't pulled out of an England tour to take part, siting knee trouble...

He's a bit more of a looker than Goughie, so perhaps he'll get more of the middle aged housewife vote.

He'll certainly get the housewives vote. Now, what odds do you think I'll get if I bet that ramps bursts into tears after dressing down from the judges (which he surely will). That will also add to his housewife appeal.
