Is that the similie they used at the pre-natal classes? Or are you just making it sound easier?

I totally forgot about Clare Connor, or any other women's cricketer come to think of it (or a lack of thinking beforehand). *Slaps himself on the hand*

I hope this doesn't go the full distance because that really mess with my sleep patterns. Its as big an event as you get in cricket and I know I will have to be watching quiet a bit of it despite all the objections in this house.

I shall watch or record the highlights, but I don't have Sky so I can't watch the live action anyway

Well i'm going to watch as many balls as physically posible so for me it's going to be a tiring month along the lines of:

9:00-18:00 - Lectures (uni student)
18:00 - 23:00 - Sleep
23:00 - 7:00 - Ashes
7:00 - 9:00 - Sleep/Work

Not much rescheduling involved for me!

Brisbane tests start at 1.30pm here. The TV will be on at work to watch the early exchanges. I might take a late lunch I suppose to allow me to give it my full attention. Home in time for mid-way through the afternoon session.

Perth will be even better as I'll be home for even more of the action. Adelaide I think will start at about 2.00pm here, so most of the afternoon and evening sessions will be on at home. It may mean my other half won't be able to watch The Apprentice or House or some other American crap, but when there's the promise of Freddie Flintoff, she'll be alright!

Melbourne and Sydney might be more tricky; as they will involve rearranging my schedule as I'll be in Australia having abuse hurled at me from thousands of Aussies. I'm wondering whether to turn up to the MCG in my Beige Brigade top to confuse them

I reckon that would only cop me more abuse once they work out that I'm a 'pom'!

I will be listening on line for the most of the time, I have Cable but am not subsribing to a sports channel, when I will be on my laptop most of the time, I also will watch the highlights.
As you see from the time of this post, staying up late is not a problem to me.

Well, given that I've just started a new job I can't stay up too late on weekdays/Sunday nights, however I will watch the first hour tomorrow night and maybe Thursday night, then as much as possible before falling asleep on Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday - if the tests go 5 days, will probably be a radio do for me.

I usually watch the first 2 hours of the test match on tv (Apart from Perth) and then catch up with the rest on the highlights show, unless something good is happening that will make me stay up and watch more.

Not really one for staying up all night 'cos I find it near impossible to sleep through the day.

I work from home and generally set my own hours these days so i should catch a fair bit of it. In any case, i have my cable and PC connected by Windows Media Player so i will just use the time-shift feature when i cannot watch live.
