Only in Melbourne and Sydney do they usually start before midnight, with starts at 2330 GMT being the norm there.
Yeh but with the coverage starting at 11 I wanted to see that... waste of time really seeing as it was the usual guff with Atherton, Gower, Hussain and Beefy etc. doing the usual. Sky Sports even managed to totally **** up the all improtant toss - so we had to guess that Ponting had chosen to bat (like it was much of a guess anyway)...

I hadn't factored in the time differences for Perth etc... will have to rethink that one. Anyway, last night went fine. To anyone trying the sleeping before cricket thing, I have some herbal Nytol pill things that seemed to knock me out nicely...

I confess that I changed my plans. I had been planning to get up early this morning to follow a couple of hours, but in the end, although I woke up early, the bed seemed warmer than the rest of the flat, so I gave it a miss. And having read the card now, I really don't care!
