Duncan Stanley Fletcher, you have pleaded guilty to the charges set before this court

I say, it is good to see people coming round to my way of thinking.

Well mine, and Geoffrey Boycott's anyway.

Yes, I can't wait to read which platitudes Fletch will be using in tomorrow morning's papers.

Will he go for the Flintoff: "we're getting there, we've improved in each match" "It was just that hour before lunch"?

OR will he suggest that it was all his fault, and his team selections were way too negative, and all wrong.

Hmmm, let me think.

England have not to give up, here are three Tests remaining, and anyone thinking it impossible - should look at Australia's mission impossible - which they won at Adelaide - England move on, Adelaide and the Gabba is history.

Basically just did his usual garbage:
-Warne doesn't have a psychological advantage over your batsman, but is a 'great bowler'.
-'Mphhmmhhmhmhmmphmhm'. Head buried in the sand, cornt oonderstand the Zumbarbween ixcent fer horf of the things he sid.
-"Australia were pretty vulnerable"
-"We're not going to call for an inquest post match. When we get to Perth, we'll have a look at it".

DAG Fletcher, what the hell were you thnking.

An aussies point of view yes england made 500 odd on the perfect batting pitch but they took too long to make them if they had of taken full advantage should have been around the 600-650 mark at the same time the game would have been over

Flintoff is a superstar but not a captain
Hoggard is your only bowler who looks settled
Collingwood batted extremly well in the 1st dig (what was he thinking in the 2 nd way too defensive)
Giles bowled so so in Brisbane crap in Adelaide give the other spinner ago
Get Vaughn out of the casino and onto the ground

But on the other hand Martyn wont last the series and someone who can bat will come in
Mcgrath is finished imo
Mcgill will come in soon and out bowl Warne

I agree CC...we come from such a negative culture that even football mad "Talk Sport" (cause we know nothing about anything else except pies and ref-baiting) are getting in on the bashing.

Two men are culpable for this. DF for his negative, destructive selections and Freddie for blindly backing him up.

Countless teams have collapsed to Aus on a last day pitch. England won a majority of the sessions. We just didnt have the bowling attack to restrict on 1st innings and pressurise on 2nd. England have the right men, but they're bringing out the drinks.

Have to say though that having watched or listened to every England test match in the last 30 years...if Fletcher picks this side again...I may switch off.
