To much being dumped on Flintoff

Vaughan for captain... yippee : I consider thats a backward step, why could'nt he have stayed home during the ashes improved his fitness and not started pondering of an ashes comeback while the series was on and he was nowhere near fit enough to come back into the team.
Flintoff for captain... tried to do to much : To much not going on in Englands bowling department for Freddie to try holding down number 6 batting. To many players selected using pontential as a yardstick rather than actual performance in particular pace bowling. At this stage England really needs Freddie as a bowler more than a batsman, time for him to drift back up the order as 7 or 8, and get yourself a keeper who can bat a bit.
Strauss for captain... blown out of the water : Mike Brearley was a bigger batting threat. And he could captain.
Bell for captain... still my man : All his yards were tough ones, little scrapper reminds of Allan Border, Justin Langer, Ian Chappell and David Boon. Ian is'nt pretty but their are not to many Englishman I would get to bat for my life at the moment, but currently he is it.

I think its time to turn the tables around. Instead of International players playing county cricket, England should send their youngesters (specially pacers)to countries like Pakistan where they play in rough conditions and on dead pitches. The current English structure is just too luxury for english players.

It wouldn't necessary be a bad thing sending fringe players to India or Pakistan during the winter. It's surely better than them being used as drinks waiters or playing in meaningless friendlies while on Tour.
Perhaps it could take these players out of their comfort zone a bit, being forced to adapt quickly to a totally different environment than they're used to.
According to Cricinfo,Kabir Ali and Vikram Solanki are currently playing state cricket in India along with Nayan Doshi.
