Actually, if you look at those stats properly, it's not 2005, it's the summer of 2005, and since he didn't bat in the series against Bangladesh, it's actually just his stats for the 2005 Ashes.
So going back to what I asked you to provide stats for, you were claiming that Flintoff had been batting better than #1, #2 and #3, and if you check the batting averages for that series, you'll find that Trescothick averaged higher than Flintoff. I would add, that just providing Flintoff's statistics for any one period doesn't actually answer my point, as you were claiming he averages more than other players - well to prove or disprove that, you need to provide their statistics as well.
Further, you've used as evidence one of the two series in the last two years in which Flintoff did manage to average more than 30 with the bat, what about all the series in that time in which he failed with the bat and averaged less than 30?
