I like the word "successful" - the England team has missed Simon jones more than any other player along with Trescothick.

Well I don't think he will have to push that hard, Englands attack is inexpreienced, and has shown to be so.

IF Jones returns, and taking into consideration Harmison will be bowling at home, and IF England can find a decent opener and #3 - then England will be ready to take on Australia in 2009.

Does anyone think Jones will ever be fit enough to play for England again?, and will he transform England's bowling to the highs of 2005?.

IMO Jones is a vital member of Englands pace attack, along with Harmy, Hoggy and Freddie . Its good to see him bowl again.

He will play on and off for the next couple of years I just doubt he will ever complete a series again .

I think he is too chunky for a fast bowler and expect more injuries. Needs to keep away from the weights. He is good though and much more competitive than Harmison.
