Looks like 2 comfortable victories for Yorkshire then,a great start to the season.
Yes it is looking very comfortable for the Yorkies now, Hoggy in excellent form as well. My only slight worry for Yorkshire this season is the age of so many of the core of the team, White and Gough surely cannot go on for too much longer whatever Goughie says and with Hoggy off on England duty most of the time and it beginning to look more likely that Rashid will join him sooner rather than later Yorkshire could find themselves exposed. I think they should be fine this year, and I am even hopefull that they may pull off a CC win with the mix of youth and experience but next year with a single overseas player and the probability of England calling on Rashid and Hoggard along with the additional year on Gough and White and they may repeat the trick of winning the title one year and being relegated the next.

To me this year the weakest teams are Worcs, Kent and Surrey, with Hants, Sussex and Yorks looking the strongest

A lot will change when the overseas players join after the World Cup.Yorkshire are lucky that they have virtually their full side at the moment.I can't see Adil Rashid being picked for England this summer, they will have memories of what happened to Schofield in their minds.

As for our chancesthis season,we are probably only 3 more wins from stopping up.One step at a time.

Well, Durham made Yorkshire bat again after Graham Onions, Callum Thorp and Steve Harmison took on Adil Rashid and co. for a few overs! Yorkshire chased down 30 for the loss of Craig White, caught by Phil Mustard off Steve Harmison, who finished the match with figures of 6/85 and 1/7. Matthew Hoggard claimed 5-32 in Durham's second innings. Well done Yorkshire, impressive early season form but as has been said the challenge will really come later in the season.

Surrey beat Sussex by an innings earlier on.

Glam vs Essex.

I'm all for nightwatchmen hanging around to do their job,but Huw Waters of Glamorgan has batted all day as well as last night to score 26 off 247 ! balls. This must be some sort of record for a nightwatchman surely ?.

I'm not sure about any sort of record but I think it's a perfect sign that Glamorgan were going for the batting points and just keeping themselves in the game and hoping for a miracle. I suppose the draw would be better than a thrashing but 33 off 265 balls is just terrible.

Go the Yorkies, two from two is the perfect start for us. It's also good to see we can still play very well even when we rest a few good players (McGrath and Gillespie).

Oh well, at least Durham won their first game and lost this one with a typical collapse.

On the England front its good to see Harmison and Hoggard firing.
