Thanks Collyisamackem.Yes my loyalties are seriosuly split this week. I guess I was hoping for a nice draw with maximum batting and bowling points for both teams ideally. Although my take on the season will be Hampshire obviously posing a stronger challenge for the title than Yorkshire who will be drifting just off the pace around 4th place, so maybe the points would be better off going to my chums at the Rose Bowl rather than my Headingley chums!

I had thought the weakness of the Surrey bowling would cause them a problem, but the batting isn't fairing any better at the moment. Of course the one day stuff is different.

Well 319-4 at tea should mean Yorkshire won't lose but can they force a win tomorrow? Great to see Younis get tons in both innings and Brophy is putting the home attack to the sword with 45 at a run a ball.I guess 420 will be the target then declare and see if they can nip a couple out tonight.

"Well 319-4 at tea should mean Yorkshire won't lose but can they force a win tomorrow" Im not taking anything for granted anymore after Hampshires game v Surrey last week when I thought a lead of 500 was more than enough to avoid defeat. Although it did prove just enough in the end it made for a jittery day listening to it.

439-4 dec with Younis 202* and Brophy 100*.A nice 194 partnership to set it all up for the bowlers to do their stuff.

Well Hampshire held on well to stop Yorkshire picking up the last two wickets to get victory, mainly thanks to Pothas who Yorkshire were unable to dismiss in both innings. I guess as I am a fan of both sides a draw with both teams taking 9 points out of the game was fair result for me! Oh and one other thing, since when has Younis Khan been a decent bowling option??? He picked up four wickets today and put the Yorkshire opening international bowlers to shame

| He must have bowled well, if Gough let him bowl 18 tight overs! I think it's fair to say he was easily man of the match - 106, 202* and 4/52 with his Afridi-esque medium/leg breaks.
