I agree. He was a top quality test player and is already regarded as becoming a fine coach. In a few years time I can see him becoming our coach.

I for one wouldnt complain about that.

This is good for England because Andy was one of the best player of Zimbabwe and he also got much experience so its a good move.

Fantastic news IMO. Flower was a world-class batsman, let's hope he can inspire some of our younger players (Cook, Bell etc) to reach the same heights and beyond as he did.

And if worst comes to the worst, he can come out of retirement and solve the keeper crisis.

I suppose a new coach wants his own backroom staff, happens all the time in football.

Sounds good. Was an excellent player of spin too, so hopefully he can pass on some of his knowledge to our players because it's definitely an area we struggle in.
