| Yorkshire have just bowled out Worcestershire for 132 to win by an innings and a whole lot more. Cracking stuff from the best side in the Championship, so far, this season. Come on the the Yorkies!

| Worcs must be favourites for relegation already, and Yorks have gone from being a basket case at Christmas to the strongest side in the country by the start of the season. Effectively they have added Younis Khan, Rudolph the red faced kolpak, Anthony McGrath, and Darren Gough to a side that had looked likely to fall apart. What a turn around for the tykes. |

| It is an amazing turnaround by Yorkshire but you wonder if they will cope without Hoggard as Gough and Gillespie are hardly spring chickens,i guess Bresnan being fit and firing is a huge bonus as he missed a lot of games last season.I think they may well replace Hoggy with Lawson and see what the spin twins can do in tandem. As you say CPCT the Rudolph situation is a bit off but Yorkshire aren't the only side to take a South African international on that sort of deal.I would prefer that it wasn't possible but as it is you may as well exploit it if you can get a good player and not a journeyman. | I know a lot of couties including Durham are taking on Kolpaks, but as far as I can see only Rudolph is hoping to use his time out to fight his way back into the south african test and ODI squad and hence is bending the Kolpak law so far that it is acting like a very nasty hook and getting caught in the throats of many cricket fans in this country. |

| A tight finish on the cards at Durham, Plunkett and Harmison ripping through Kent in the second innings. Kent 9 down and trying to just survive till close of play. |

| Oh ******! That's some collapse... mind you, Plunkers and Harmy have bowled 39 out of the 50 overs so far. And Robbie Joseph and Ryan McLaren are not defensive batsmen. At all.

| And just as I reply, Robbie Joseph retires hurt just three balls after tea. Great. If Harmison doesn't play in the first Test I will eat both my shoes as well as my hat.

| Even if Plunkett is picked it is still one of the strongest attacks in the country, at least seam bowling wise. Mark Davies, Greame Onions, Callum Thorp, Otis Gibson, plus Claydon and Killeen in reserve. We have a serious glut of seam bowling talent. If we had a decent spinner we would be pushing for the championship. |

The pace attack Durham fielded today must the the best in the Championship. Harmison, Plunkett and Onions aint a bad trio as Kent and even Lancs admittedly in a one day game, have found out.
