| Glamorgan fought back against Notts - can they resurrect their season? (Short answer is sadly "no.") Sussex have wasted a good start at Arundel. I'm thinking of going on Friday if the weather's good.

| Yorkshire going well against Kent - 268/2, with Sayers (thats right, the slow one) and McGrath getting tons. I get the feeling there's a slow, turning track at Tunbridge Wells... no surprise there then. Both sides only playing one spinner though - in Yorkshire's case I could understand but Kent should know what the ground's like! ![]()

After a day like that Yorkshire shouldn't lose the game, now it is a case of can they win it? |

| Ah, and I've forgotten Denly bowls a few leggies as well. With little success. If the tail gets going Yorkshire could easily hit 600 - the problem is if it's that easy to bat then Kent will look to bat on... and on... and on... etc.

| Yes,just depends which of the Jekyll and Hyde Kent batting line up turns up. Joe Sayers is still going strong with 182* out of 402-4. James Hildreth has another ton for Somerset in their 506-2 against Leicestershire. Things looking good this season for some of the young prospects around the country. |

| Thanks for putting the mockers on that Greg - gone for 187, sounds as though he was caught at silly point if I know Key's field placings correctly! Still 416/5 is a cracking position to be in. The younger players this season are proving that the future could be very bright for English cricket.

| So Muchall can't play anyone except Murali?!!! The guy is a total enigma. Let's select him for the Sri Lanka tour!!! ![]() Nice to see Styris going well. Hopefully we can match and beat Lancs' score with Mustard to come and some heavy hitting from Gibson and Onions. Davies (it's so good to have him bowling again) can wield a little as well. |
