| England have had a few of those over the years!! I recall Glenn McGrath saying he had never bowled at a better batsman in the nets. Hick was batting against McGrath with one of those half width practise bats and middling everything. Just shows, like Ramps he just didnt have the mental strength for test cricket, although he did average 40odd for a bit and get into the worlds top 10 in the mid 90's.
