Another blistering knock from Mustard

Phil Mustard has played another blinding knock scoring 78 from 40 balls, getting Durham off to a flier against Leicestershire and ultimately contributing to a win.

Surely the selectors must select him for the winter ODI's and dispense with Prior?? England desperately need this kind of explosive hitting at the top of the order, especially if Cook and Bell are to bat at 1 and 3.

I suppose you are right there .

Prior is to Moores what Jones was to Fletcher .

He's had another good game today. Yesterday his 50 came off 21 balls (a county record), today it took him 27 balls.

It looks like he made a mess of Hoggards figures too . I know England won again today but with him and Tresco opening the batting.......

I see Ottis Gibsons carrying on his fine form - another wicket with the first ball of the innings and figures of
6 4 6 2 are pretty impressive.
