Decent enough display from Harmison (2-67 and 2-26) but with Henderson doing most of the donkey work he only bowled the 14 overs in the first innings and 13 in the second which is not quite what the doctor ordered.

(Decent 45 from Plunkett followed by a second innings duck)

So Harmison gets to Sri Lanka but his bowling boots are still in South Africa.

What a pillock.

I guess the fines committee will have paid for the end of tour booze up already with this one.

He's managed four overs for 33 runs before tea. Included in that lot are six no-balls and a wide. Is he trying to bowl himself out of the First Test?

Bit unfair to judge the guy on this one. I doubt he has a new ball, I am guessing the batters were looking for the declaration, so threw the bat a bit.

The no balls are a problem, but they can be sorted quite easily. I am afraid to say that he really was onto a loser coming on when he did.

He may have been on a loser but he hasn't helped himself with his chances of selection on this performance.

Hopefully Broad will replace Harmison.

The guy is meant to be a Professional cricketer, and an International at that. He should not be overstepping that often. The idea of him playing in South Africa was for him to get some bowling done. Surely that's where he gets the no-balls out of his system?

Admittedly he didn't stand to gain much but it would have done him good to bowl a few decent overs.
