Nearly made that request.. but have just been doing a bit of exploration of my own based on the teams listed half way through this thread (probably not definitive). Came up with the following:

1. Absolutely everyone chose Vaughan, G Jones and Harmisoni. All but one (Zainub) chose Thorpe, al but one (Ernest) chose Ntini), all but two chose Hoggard and all but three chose Smith. Strauss didn't convince as perhaps he should have done (seven refusals), and what realy split people was the choice between Tresco and Rudolph: Sarah, TOFF, NE, Ernest and Zainub chose both.. The Worker, Maranello and Andy M chose neither.. and the rest of us were evenly split 9 for Tresco, 9 for Rudolph.

2. The favourite alternative players were Pollock (5), Steyn (4), Key (3) and Kallis and De Villiers (2 each).

3. The perfect pick to really triumph in this competition would have actualy included both the Tresco AND Rudolph (75% of us got that wrong) and would NOT have included Vaughan (all wrong), Thorpe (alll but Zainub wrong, but marginal: Dippenaar beats him by just 5 points) or Smith (only ommitted by Sarah, Statto and Ernest).

4. It hasn't really mattered that much which all-rounder was picked: everyone went for Flintoff, Pollock or Kallis... and all 3 have done sensationally. Edge to Flintoff at the moment.....

5. All 4 of those who ditched Giles did so for Steyn.. and lost out badly! The best pick for the bowling was Ntini (437, bad news for Ernest), then Hoggard (313, bad news for The Worker and Zainub), then Jones (321, good news for Ernest who was the only one to pick him), then Giles (282) followed by Boje (233) as the last of the 200 pointers. Harmison trails in with his tail between his legs on 184 ahead of Steyn on 140.

6. No one (no great shock this) picked Langveldt: note to Richard.. how would his points be looking?
