Its an england baord of course we are banking on an england victory

England are more of a unit and a "match winner" could come from any number of players. SA you're looking at smith, pollock or Kallis.

Here goes, this has been made even more complicated by the abundance of allround talent (only 1 allowed) and the possible diversity in South African selection. I suppose that to select a team to gain success in all three competitions we have to look at players who will take part in the most games through the series.

BATTERS: M. Trescothick, G. Smith, M. Vaughan, G. Thorpe and AB de Villiers
W/K: G. Jones
A/R: S. Pollock
BOWLERS: S. Harmison, M. Ntini, M. Hoggard and D. Steyn

And to captain the side - Shaun Pollock

Please enter this team into all three competitions

Good Luck to all of you

Surprised to see Gibbs not included in SA's test squad, I'll have to change my line up now:

Zainub's Modified Combined Test/ODI SA-Eng Fantasy Team

Trescothick
Smith
Strauss
Vaughan (vice captain)
Rudolph
Flintoff (Captain)
Jones (w/k)
Giles
Harmison
Anderson
Ntini

Bit of controversial decision to hand Freddie the captaincy ahead of Vaughan, but I reckon he's going to get it some day or the other so why not in my fantasy team to start with ;-) Only other change is Rudolph in for Dippenar.

Hope I'm allowed to make changes.

Sorry about the late change but I just heard the new squads and some intersting oppinons on this Styne guy. Bit of a risk but hey...

Exclamation Changes/competitions

Hello All
Well I'll let people make changes (as many as they like) until the 15th December.
This seems fair as the squads will change. Then the final team they submit will be the team they have for the whole series.
Please can you only enter one team for either combined or test or ODI.

I won't consider any substitutions for any reason after this date.
I can't /won't put a team for all three contests, it's just too difficult! So just pick one.

Tommorow I'll sum up the entries so far and you can correct me.

Thanks for the entries so far.
