You can choose any 11 players from the squad list as long as you choose

1 All rounder
1 keeper
4 bowlers

No substitutions (I'm really too busy!)

Fielding:
Each catch taken +5
Each stumping +20

Bowling:
Each wicket taken +30
Each 5 runs conceded -1

Batting:
Each run scored +1
Each duck -30 (does not apply to players listed as bowlers)

Your captain will score double points (including minus points) at all times.

I run the scores on an Excel spreadsheet on my computer so if you want a copy, let me know.

How do I pick a team?

Study the player list above and choose 11 players. You must choose:

5 batsmen
1 wicket keeper
1 all-rounder
4 bowlers

A player can only be selected once in your team. You can choose as many players from one country as you like.

You must nominate one player from each chosen eleven to be your captain, who will score double points.

Rules.

1. Only one team per player. Think about your selection.
2. Teams must be selected like this.Your team must come from the list( see above) . 11 players (5 batsmen, 1 All rounder, 1 wicket keeper, 4 bowlers). You must also choose a captain within these 11 who scores double points , including MINUS points.
3. Submit your team by or posting on this thread by the 3RD MARCH 2005. I won't accept teams after this time.
4. Scoring willl be as outlined in this thread.
5. The winner will be the team(s) with the most points at the end of the game.
6. The prizes are warm glowing feelings, plus bragging rights.
7. This contest is limited to 20 teams on a first come, first served basis.
8. Anyone who cheats will be disqualified from this competition (and possibly from future competitions) .
9. WAT has the final word. Period.
10. I/Admin/Moderators/ reserves the right to amend these rules/cancel the competition .

Richard, might be useful if you specify whether these contests are for the ODIs or the Tests or both. Am I only allowed to enter one team for all three contests?

The squads for either country have not yet been announced; Pakistani squad is expected to be announced on 19 Feb, India probably around that time or after that.

I'll wait until both teams announce their squads. Pakistan's squad will be announced on the 19th, India's I don't know, hopefully by that time. Considering all that I think I will post my team by the 20 or 21st of Feb.
