If i swapped Ashley Giles into the play list i'd have problems, notaby with Kirsty who chose AG as her captain. i'd have to choose another captain for Kirsty and this could cause problems. Also it would mean that the results would change. I know some selectors had several players who didn't play. This includes the winner of the contest, Zainub.
For some teams I'd have to change a lot of players . esecially Ernests team (and mine too!) so I felt it was unfair to players to do so , especialy as I gave (i hope) enough notice of changes. The use of the substitute would of been if Giles was ruled unfit on the morning (or the night before) Then i'd swap, or if someone falls ill/gets injured during a series. i'd swap.

Honestly I think gave enough warning to people . If players don't agree with it , let me know.

I've changed my position since yesterday because swapping reserves could be a time-consuming job when 40+ managers are involved. Makes sense to put the onus on the managers to edit their teams before the cut-off to avoid having half their players not playing.

I'll agree with anything that treats everyone equally. Included in that would be the idea of dropping reserve players altogether. This FC is free to enter and has no prizes - it's just for fun. We shouldn't over-complicate it for ourselves (or, more especially, for the game creators).

When i thought changing a player gave less points i didn't do so. I couldn't change tomg.... sorry! dunno why!
However i think paoli and others goes down, so i'll change it back!
