Sure but what about all those who Gayle and Razzaq - another choice that is closed to those who entered after Gayle's status was swtiched.

Your right, Maranello. Basically, any team that selected Gayle as a batsman has a problem. Pete should have PMed each manager and told them to edit their team and now it's too late. It's harsh but Pete will have to replace Gayle with the 1st reserve batsman. It's extra harsh on those teams that selected Gayle as captain or a bonus player. Now the reserve batsman will replace Gayle as captain or bonus player in those instances. It's up to every manager who submits a team early to keep an eye on the thread for announcements of player changes and do last minute edits if necessary. Those that didn't will now suffer the consequences.

Pete can try and PM all the managers and get their choice and edit their team before the match starts.

Provisional squads are okay when the game is created early. But all managers should be aware that they will most likely need to edit their team when the final squad is announced. Ideally, the creator will send them a PM reminder to edit their team but he doesn't have to. That is a courtesy but, at the end of the day, it is the sole responsibility of the managers to keep abreast of changes that will effect their team. That includes watching the thread for announcements of squad changes.

Change Zainub's team anyway pete, only the creator can do this. She'll understand. She can't have an advantage over everyone else;
She'll understand (at least i hope she will!!)

Yousaf Youhana (PAK) is not playing either, has to fly back home (details). This probably creates more work for you Pete - as most managers would have selected him, you will have to replace him with their first substitue batsman, as long as the substitue is playing I guess. Of course, this depends on how the substitutions system is meant to work - you could take the position that anyone who chose Youhana now has to live with the consequences, which would also be a reasonable position.

Yeah, I just noticed I had Youhana in (who gets swapped for Younis Khan), I also have Bravo in there, who gets swapped for Razzaq. So, I may be in there with a heave at the title by tommorow.
