General information

Hello. I'm the moderator for fantasy cricket and I notice you've decided to run a contest on the World -a-team site. Please make sure you read the links I've enclosed.

http://www.world-a-team.com/showthread.php?t=3011

Creator responsibilities are outlined here
http://www.world-a-team.com/showthread.php?t=3009

Whilst I welcome genuine contests to the forum, I'd like to remind you that non serious attempts should be explained oon the forum as a 'trial' .

Failure to stick to these responsibilities could result in banishment from creating fantasy games. Remember it spoils the fun for eveyone else

If you create a contest It's expected that you post a thread on the fantasy forum explaining what the point of the contest is, who it involves etc. And the creator has to score every game!!

Use this to help you

Welcome to world-a-team. I hope that your game is succesful.

Thanks for understanding

Richard

Opening contests

Contests can now only be opened by memebers with over a certain number of posts to prevent abuse of the game.

Pm me for further details.

Thanks for understanding.

I think that's a good idea, there are some bogus tournaments added. By the way, how many posts are needed?

Provisional and Final Squads

I notice that some games are being created well in advance of the first match using provisional squads. That's okay as long as the creator updates his/her game with the final squads before the cut-off to give Managers a chance to edit their teams to include missing players. Managers who don't recheck their teams before the cut-off could be at a serious disadvantage if their reserves have to be used to replace missing players. If you know that the final squads have been announced and are aware that the creator hasn't updated his/her game with new players PM the creator and forward a copy to me as well to ensure the new players are included.
