Swapping players if a selected player doesn't play?

Picked a team, Chosen your alternatives, But your skipper/a player doesn't play because of injury. He /she was in the squad though. The thread informed people but you didn't see it in time/ couldn't be bothered to change? What should happen?

1) You pm the creator and let them know
2) The creator swaps as a matter of course
3) The team stays as it is
4) Something else.(explain)

2 or 3 (I thought we had already been round this block once? Maybe I am wrong.) I would suggest whichever makes less work for the creator (2, I guess), unless you feel that that is inconsistent with running an interesting game, in which case 3.

Now, there are 23 contestants in my NatWest Series Game. Seeing as it is a three-team series, there will be alot of absentees. For this reason, I think that I will not be awarding substitutes.

All in favour?

As a creator you're entitled to deal with reserves any way you want as long as you mention it in your game thread so no-one has cause for complaint.
