Open Golf

Is it worth anybody else bothering with Tiger going so well? -6 after 13 is a bit good.
I see that Levet, the bald Frenchman is on the leaderboard at another Open.

My money is down the pan already.Did Westwood

Oh no! Did you have a flutter on Lee?

I didn't see any of his round but he was +4 for the day, I thought I heard he had a bit of bad luck, but I'm not sure.

Woods is looking rather ominous. I think he will win it to be honest.

I'm not too big a golf fan, but don't mind a bit and am certainly going to watch it these next few days. I feel pretty motivated to go and play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 on my computer now!

Tiger has gone slightly off the boil, leaving him leader by only 1 shot at the moment (Tiger is just about to start hole 18).

A nice round by Luke Donald today, finishing with a round of 68 and 4 under par. He's turning into a nice little player and, dare I say it, a decent prospect for some top golf honours. He ended up joint third at Augusta and looks set for a chance at a top ten place here, or maybe better. I'm not sure whether it helped him playing with the greats Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus, or not, today. It may have taken attention off him to play some nice unpressured golf.

He's got a chance! One behind currently!

Monty moves within 2 of Tiger. It would be great if he could finally do it, but it will be a massive task. Can you imagine how much pressure he would be feeling if he needed to sink a ten-foot putt on the 18th to win the title? He's waited so long, I hope he gets a real chance to win, and I hope the pressure doesn't get too much.

Monty just dropped a shot. Tiger 6 ahead. Seemingly in the bag now. Olazabal is right beneath the ridge of the huge 15th bunker.

I knew Montgomery was going to bottle it! Still a nice round though.

I wish people at the golf would stop shouting "GET IN THE HOLE!", idiots!

Well done Eldrick! Nice sideburns also! Haircut honours should go to Monty though, wish I had hair like that!

Yeah, that really annoys me too - the American's started it off, and now it sadly seems to be catching on over here. How lovely!

Predictable outcome - Woods has been the likely winner all along, but it was nice to see some of the old timer's showing the youngsters how it's done!!

And at every tee-shot we hear massive "Whoooahh"s when the ball is about to land on the massive wide fairway! Annoying!
