| Just want to know if Rahul Dravid is playing or not? you mention he is out of the side then you say that he is still in the revised side. Please can you let me know what is up? Last edited by Beny : 16-08-2005 at 06:51 AM. Reason: Removal of full quote |

| Good pickup, Gumboots. I just copied the revised sides from the BBC Cricket website and I didn't notice Rahul Dravid in the squad. I've edited my post to remove Dravid. I've now seen on the CricInfo website that Sanath Jayasuriya has also withdrawn. He is replaced with Mahela Jayawardene who will miss the first match due to Visa problems. I've updated the revised squads.

That prevented them from scoring higher and being competitive. I wish to emphasize that keeping tabs with squad changes is part of the game and is totally your responsibility. CricInfo.com is the best site to visit to get the latest news on squad changes. Usually, the game is open on the last day before the first match if you need to edit your team at the last minute. | Practice makes you get better, but I too generally tend to struggle in the one-day stuff. Test cricket is more to my liking. One days game a much more of a lottery, unexpected thing can happen, like freakish 44-8 collapse of India the other day, and unexpected players can make the mark, like Lou Vincent making 170 odd for NZ against Zimbabwe the other day, it's hard to predict. Test cricket is a lot safer, you can select your Warnes , Flintoffs and be all but sure that they'll give up some very good points. Last edited by Zainub : 28-08-2005 at 09:18 PM. |
