I'm out of the running. Picking Sangakkara and Smith were my two major mistakes, plus McGrath getting injured but everyone has him.

McGrath only has a minor niggle. He's only being rested really.

Sangakara had played well in both games.

After discussion It's been decided NOT to use any reserve players as we feel adaquate notice was given of all team changes and it was up to the manager to check weather or not the players they selected had any chance of playing or not.

If you have any problems with this decision then please PM me.

However, Gilchrist has now played better.

Congratulations to flanflinger for your first win in your 4th attempt. Congratulations also to sacredviper and arsalan660 for a podium finish at your first attempt. It was surprising that Australia whitewashed the World XI and this meant your fantasy team needed a few Aussies in it to win the game. Flanflinger had Ponting as Captain which was a good choice.

After a disaster of a secon round, and failing to spot Graeme Smith's inclusion as an error, I'm pleased with 10th. Thanks to Hussey and Lee for bringing me back into it!

When I created my team I was concerned about the lack of recent match practice by some of the World XI players but I believed their experience and class would prevail. I never emagined Australia would whitewash them so emphatically. After making such a calculated blunder I'm happy that I managed a Top Ten ranking.

Seeing as I thought Warne was coming out of retirement for the super-series I picked him... Did pretty well for a 10 man side then!

Was that just female intuition Rachael, or did you actually hear someone say that?

Ritchie Benaud has said Warney is thinking of coming out of ODI retirement, but I don't think he meant for the Super Series, more the World Cup which he missed last time because of his ban.
