Justin Langer has been ruled out for the 1st test at least and likely the series, therefore I'm giving everybody the option to replace him with your reserve batsmen.

I've already altered the following teams:

Captain
Chris_Beardy
edwin
Ernest
Flanflinger
Gemma
Henners
Mike

Can you please check your teams and see if you have any problems with the changes I have made or e-mail me if you would like me to change your team. I can change the teams that I have altered back to the original settings if you wish.

Cheers,
Beny

Good I was hoping that Hussey would play well enough in the first game to secure his place, and had been gambling on that by picking a "fringe" player in my first XI. More so as I named him as my Captain.

Looks like I should get value for my pick this way even if he has only a moderate debut.

Cheers guys this is the first fantasy game I have participated in so fingers crossed.

1 in the first innings CPCT, not so good for your captain hey? He's also one of my bonus players so I hope he puts in a good second innings showing. Ponting's doing nicely.

Well done Whitey who is the frontrunner in his/her first fantasy game. rineet and Ragnash are also looking for their first podium finish. Still early days. C'mon Captain, chris-beardy, cantplaycantalk and Collyisamackem. You've got some work to do to climb out of the bottom half of the table.

From what I hear, Watson has been ruled out of the series. If you have picked him and would like to change then please notify me whenever you have the chance.

Do we know who is replacing him? I'd like to but I'd rather know his replacement first.

As for me doing badly, I blame:

- Myself - I should have realised that MacGill will never play a full test series, and that captaincy is too much for CHanderpaul.
- Mike Hussey acting completely unlike himself.

More bad news for those who selected Shane Watson as their all-rounder. Looks like he is out for the remaining matches of the series due to a dislocated shoulder injury. Not his bowling arm, thankfully.

Not really - he has performed very well with the bat over the past few series, when he has also been the captain.

I don't think the game can be edited to add new players once the series has started so if you wish to use your 1st reserve all-rounder then you need to tell Beny.
