Jaques kallis

i have a short question about Jaques Kallis being in the batsman section, is this because you forgot he is an all-rounder or he doesn't bowl in ODI's?

thank you

Hi Henners, the person who creates the game can choose which categories to place the players. They don't necessarily have to match the main skill of the player. In most cases I do try and put the players in the appropriate categories but not always. For example, if there are too many batsmen and not enough all-rounders I'll put some of those batsmen in the all-rounders category. I don't like putting both Kallis and Pollock in the all-rounder category so I tend to put Pollock in there as SA have plenty of good bowlers to choose from so I don't normally place Pollock in the bowler category. The other reason is that Kallis is bowling less overs now in a one-day series than he used to. Even when he bowls he isn't as effective as Pollock so I prefer to have him in the batsman category.

Nel is out for 3-4 weeks

Due to a fractured bone in the foot Nel will miss the first few matches. Please edit your team otherwise I will use the first reserve.

Top 10 rankings after 1st match

Code:
chris-beardy 307
kabyle 280
tg123 267
uham 256
Ernest 255

Mike 248
Spinner 245
rineet 243
Our first round leader is chris-beardy. He hasn't been on the podium yet so good luck chris for the rest of the game. I expect positions will fluctuate a fair bit as there are three teams involved in this series. I have swapped Andre Nel with your first reserve.

Admin, Could you replace Adam Gilchrist with the first reserve wicketkeeper from our teams as we have picked him in our team? It is confirmed that Gilchrist has been rested for 2 games and replaced by Brad Haddin. Thank you.

Hi rineet, if Gilchrist is rested for the next two matches that means he misses 2 of 4 matches in this game. I think it is a fair request to swap him with the 1st reserve. However, I won't do that until I'm sure he has missed both matches. I'll wait until the end of the game and then make the adjustment.

Kallis is going home

I will use a reserve to swap out Kallis after match 6 is decided. It has been announced that he won't be taking any further part in the series.
